At Our Community Bikes, we view bicycles as the perfect tool to educate young people about the environment as well as their health and well-being. We seek to make the street safer for young people in order to encourage the next generation of bicycle users.

Youth Bike Club (Grades 8-12)

This is our free drop-in bicycle mechanics program aimed at getting more youth riding by removing barriers!

Got a passion for biking? Into mechanics? Want to gain leadership skills and volunteer hours?

Come hang out with us on Tuesday afternoons at Our Community Bikes. We'll teach you how to break down busted bikes and build 'em up. Discover new routes and snack spots while exploring the city on bikes during our group rides. Plus your 10% discount turns into a membership with additional perks once you hit 20 hours of volunteering. Don't miss out!

All youth get 10% off new items with student ID or proof of birth date. Youth discount applies to ages 12-24.

 

How to Join
  • Visit Our Community Bikes in-person to pick up a paper copy of the consent form;
  • Print this; or
  • Fill online here. You will still need to submit a blank copy of the form with signatures. You may complete this in-person.
