Donate Bikes and Parts

reuse is our foundation

Image

Our Community Bikes engages volunteers and program participants in developing transferable life skills while learning mechanics by recycling and refurbishing bikes. This circular economy reverses consumer culture's demand for new products as default, through creative reuse makes a direct intervention into the problem of landfills getting out of control.

We believe bicycles to be a key component in reducing our environmental impact and in improving quality of life locally and globally.

Our goal is to take bikes out of the waste stream, refurbish or recycle them, and resell or give away the refurbished bikes and parts through programming. All proceeds from the sale of refurbished bikes and used bike parts go towards supporting our community bike programs.
