COMMUNITY Bike SHOPS
Our Community Bikes is the oldest community bike shop in Vancouver, but we aren't the only show in town. We are proud to support the Vancouver Community Bike Network including our neighbours at the entirely volunteer run Kickstand (home of 5 DIY days a week!) and our pals over on the UBC Campus, The Bike Kitchen. Or maybe you want to look for community bike shops to support in other places. Take a look at the Bike Collective's Wiki list of community bike organizations worldwide.
speciality SHOPS
Our service department can help get just about any bike rolling again, and we can order parts for you from a variety of terrific distributors. But for parts and service on electric unicycles and scooters, try Eevee's or Rad Power. Our friends at Dunbar Cycles can help you out with fine tuning your suspension systems, and we always like to shout out the smaller local joints like Lanesplit Cycles, Crank Culture and the original women-focused shop, Sidesaddle.
diy tools
OCB offers twice weekly DIY nights and various opportunities to use our tools to fix your own bike. Along with stand rentals and mechanic's courses, we've compiled a few of our favourite resources below to help you on your journey to wrenching fluency.
