Queer, trans & Esg Access Night $0-20/hr

Tuesdays 6:30-9:30 starting April 8, 2025
Fix your bike, join a maker event, become and OCB volunteer, and make new friends. 🙂
This evening is open for people who identify as queer, trans, and/or of an equity seeking gender to do stuff in our space.
Some nights are DIY focused, some are craft nights, movie nights, or volunteer training opportunities.
Make use of our stands and tools to work on your bike while being supported by fellow community members who are trained in mechanics. Two staff members and additional volunteers are available to answer questions, help you purchase new or used parts, and provide hands-off guidance to repairs.
- DIY stand rental sliding scale $0-$20/hour.
- 3 stands available. First come, first serve.
- Research while you wait! Grab a chair and chat bikes with some new friends. Bike repair manuals and laptops are available.
2025 Dates:
Tuesdays 6:30-9:30 starting April 8, 2025.
Our Community Bikes recognizes that bicycle shops and accessibility to mechanical knowledge is dominated by hetero cis men. Since 2009 WTQ nights have sought to make this knowledge more diffuse amongst marginalized communities through peer based education.
